As the first in a series of webinars focused on PKD in Children, Dr. Lisa Guay-Woodford reprised her presentation from the 2019 PKD in Children Conference “PKD in Children: Genes, genetics and what goes wrong.” We learned basic information about PKD in children and how ADPKD and ARPKD are inherited. We also learned how mutations in PKD genes affect disease progression and why family members with the same mutation may have very different symptoms.
